西公園の桜

ひさしぶりの更新です。今回から勉強をかねて、英語の翻訳記事を追加しています。

西公園は、明治８年に開園した市内では最も古い都市公園です。当時は桜ヶ丘公園と称してしましたが、町の西側にあることから西公園と呼ばれるようになり現在の西公園の名称となりました。４月になると多くの人が訪れるサクラの名所としても有名でした。現在は地下鉄工事のため桜は植え替えられてまだ若木です。
