コンビニのツバメ

仙台市郊外のコンビニエンスストアで撮影しました。

　ツバメ（英名：swallow、学名：Hirundo rustica）はツバメ科に属する鳥類です。北半球の広い範囲で繁殖しています。日本では沖縄県以外で繁殖しており、日本で繁殖するツバメの主な越冬地は台湾、フィリピン、ボルネオ島北部、マレー半島、ジャワ島などです。


　Swallow (English name: swallow, Scientific name: Hirundo rustica)  is a bird belonging to the swallow family. The swallow is breeding in a wide range of the Northern Hemisphere. In Japan, it has been breeding outside Okinawa Prefecture, the main wintering grounds of swallows breeding in Japan, Taiwan, Philippines, Borneo north, the Malay Peninsula  Java.



　泥と枯草を唾液で固めて巣を造ります。ほとんど人工物に造巣し、民家の軒先など人が住む環境と同じ場所で繁殖する傾向があります。これは、天敵であるカラスなどが近寄りにくいからだと考えられています。最近は仙台市内ではあまり見られなくなりましたが、
郊外のコンビニエンスストアの軒作ではよく見られます。

They hardens mud and dry grass with a spittle, and builds a nest. They like to breed at the situation where persons, such as a front of a private house, live. We thought that the crow etc. which are natural enemies cannot approach easily. Recently, it is no longer seen much in Sendai city,
It is  often seen seen under the eaves of the convenience store in the suburbs .

仙台青葉祭り

　昨日の”仙台青葉祭りの宵祭り”の写真です。

仙台青葉まつりは、毎年5月の第3日曜日とその前日の土曜日の2日間、宮城県仙台市で開催される祭です。今のまつりは、過去に存在した祭りを復活する形で伊達政宗没後350年にあたる1985年（昭和60年）に始まりました。
　もともと江戸時代には「仙臺祭」（仙台祭）という仙台藩最大の祭りがあり、仙台東照宮の祭礼として行われていました。それが明治維新の影響で変容し、伊達政宗の命日（5月24日）に青葉神社の祭礼として開催される「青葉祭」に生まれ変わったとされています。

Sendai Aoba Festival, the third Sunday and the day before Saturday two days of every year in May, is the festival to be held in Sendai, Miyagi Prefecture.”Aoba”mean a green leaf. Now the festival, started in 1985 (Showa 60) ,which are " 伊達政宗(Masamune Date)" 350 years after his death. It was made in order to revitalize the festival which existed in the past.
There was the biggest festival of "仙台藩(sendai clan)"called (Sendai Festival)in the Edo period.  it was done as Sendai Toshogu festival. It changes under the impact of the Meiji Restoration,it is to be reborn in the "Aoba Festival" to be held as a festival of Aoba shrine to Date Masamune of anniversary (May 24).


　

新緑の仙台市野草園

４月３０日の仙台市野草園の写真です。

　野草園は、仙台の裏山である大年寺山の北側にある植物園です。戦後の荒廃が進んだ仙台市内の野山にある貴重な山野草を保護することを目的として、1954年に開園しました。園内は東北地方の植物を中心に、様々な野生の植物が植えられています。季節ごとに、様々な植物が花を咲かせ、見る人を楽しませてくれます。

　今の季節は、絶滅危惧種であるサクラソウの可憐な花を見る事ができます。

　Wild  plant park, is a botanical garden on the north side of Dainenjiyama which is a hill at the back of Sendai. For the purpose of preserving the valuable mountain wildflowers in the  Sendai  city of hills where The disruption progressed after the war, it was opened in 1954. Mainly focus on the plant of the Tohoku district,  variety of wild plants are planted in the garden. For each season, a variety of plants bloom, and delight the viewer.

This season, you can see the pretty flowers of primrose is an endangered species.

八重桜と宮城県庁

宮城県庁前の勾当台公園で撮影した八重桜です。

八重桜の多くは、ソメイヨシノに比べて開花期が1～2週間ほど遅く、今頃が満開です。宮城県庁の現在の本庁舎は、二代目県庁舎を解体した跡地に1989年5月に完成したものです。当時は宮城県で三番目に高い高層ビルで、多くの見物客でにぎわったとのことです。現在も18階の展望ホールは自由に見学でき、レストランもあります。

 It is a double flowering cherry tree photoed  by the Miyagi prefectural office in Kotodai(勾当台) park.

Compared with a Prunus yedoensis, about one to two weeks, a time of flowering of  double flowering cherry trees. is a slowly and now is full bloom . 

 This government building  of a Miyagi  prefectural office will be completed at the former site which disassembled the second generation prefectural office building in May, 1989 . At the time, it was the  third high-rise building inMiyagi Prefecture , because there is a "prospect hole" freely put free on the top floor,I  heard  that it  was crowded with many spectators. Currently the 18th floor of the outlook hall freely can visit, there is also a restaurant.

陽春の広瀬川

　定禅寺通りを突き当たるとそこは広瀬川です。広瀬川（ひろせがわ）は、宮城県仙台市を流れる一級河川です。仙台市のシンボルとして親しまれている川であり、ヒット曲となった『青葉城恋唄』（歌/さとう宗幸）にも唄われています。
　写真は仙台市民会館の裏側から撮影した写真です。仙台市民会館の崖下にある淵（撮影した場所）を六兵衛淵といいます。ある侍が六兵衛という家来を手討ちにし、そのために自身もこの渕で水死したという伝説があることに由来すると言われています。

If you follow Jozenji streetto the west, there is Hirose River. Hirose rivers is a first-grade rivers of  flowing through the Sendai City, Miyagi Prefecture. Is a river that has been popular as Sendai symbol, became a hit song "Aoba Castle love song" It has been sung (song / Muneyuki  Sato) also.

The photograph is  taken from the back side of the Sendai civic hall. .An deep pool under the cliff of the Sendai civic hall(photoed place) is called 六兵衛淵 (rokube-buti). It is a tradition that A samurai killed a retainer called 六兵衛(rokube),therefore  he was drowned in this deep pool 

定禅寺通りのケヤキ並木のめぶき

　4月も半ばに入り、定禅寺通りのケヤキ並木が芽吹き始めました。
定禅寺通は、仙台市青葉区にある「杜の都・仙台」を象徴する並木道の１つであり、同市で開催される都市イベントの会場となることも多い道路です。仙台市都心部を東西に貫き、西公園通りから駅前通りとまで及んでいます。
　東二番丁通りより西側部分は、ケヤキの街路樹が計４列並んでおり、枝葉が通りの上部の全てを覆っています。その景観の美しさから、日本の道100選に選ばれています。

in the middle of April, zelkova tree-lined street Jozenji began bud.
Jozenji street is one of the streets lined with trees which symbolize an exist ("the capital and Sendai" in woods) in Aoba-ku, Sendai-shi, and  is a road which serves as the grounds of the  event held in the city in many cases. It is the street that pass through the center of the  Sedai-city  to the east and west,and have ranged from the west park passage to the passage in front of a station.
West part from east Nibancho street, street trees of zelkova has lined up  four columns, branches and leaves have covered all of the top of the street. From the beauty of the landscape, it has been chosen to Japan of the road 100 election.

西公園の桜

ひさしぶりの更新です。今回から勉強をかねて、英語の翻訳記事を追加しています。

西公園は、明治８年に開園した市内では最も古い都市公園です。当時は桜ヶ丘公園と称してしましたが、町の西側にあることから西公園と呼ばれるようになり現在の西公園の名称となりました。４月になると多くの人が訪れるサクラの名所としても有名でした。現在は地下鉄工事のため桜は植え替えられてまだ若木です。

The west park is the oldest city park in in the city [ which was opened in Meiji 8 ]. that time -- cherry tree -- a hill -- We called the park and carried out. However, since it was on the west side of a town, we came to be called a west park. It was the famous place that a-lot-of people will visit in April for Cherry blossom viewing.A cherry tree is again planted for the subway construction, and a presently is still a young tree.
